AOP Weekend Brunch, Oct. 7 – The morning after the exciting win over the Georgia Bulldogs, AOP alumnae, current collegiates and supporters gathered to be honored for their continued contributions.

The AOP Weekend Celebration Brunch took place at the Hilton in downtown Knoxville to recognize alumnae for their contributions to AOP.

Keynote speaker Dr. Jerry Askew, Senior Vice President for Mission and Communications for St. Mary’s Health System, spoke at the brunch to more than 50 attendees about the importance of supporting the AOP Omicron chapter.

Chapter President Courtney Spears updated attendees on the current events, including the addition of 47 top women from Panhellenic.

Ann Roush Brown (’82) shared her AOP experience and how 16 of her fellow AOP sisters meet in Destin the first weekend in May every year. This bond of friendship formed out of the bond of AOP helped has helped her to get through major milestones in her life.

Ann Wallace, Chair of the AOP Building Campaign, updated everyone on how the AOP house is shaping up. She presented a floor plan of the house and of the individual rooms, as designed by Cockrill Design & Planning.

Attendees of the event enjoyed the company of one another and learning how to get involved with the building campaign. Ann Wallace said, “Every gift is appreciated and having everyone’s support and participation is critical.”
